Social Media & Content Executive sought by a global sports organisation, with offices in London, to play a key role in the creation & distribution of digital content, to drive viewership & engagement across owned & operated channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Media / Content Executive with circa 12-18 months experience, to join a hugely exciting sports organisation at the start of a major growth phase.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the sports industry, with a sound understanding of how digital content can drive social media growth. Working with the an experienced team, you’ll help shape and deliver the content strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and growth.
Day-to-Day:
- Engage directly with fans every day, crafting compelling stories and conversations in both English and Spanish.
- Plan, create, and publish a steady stream of original and engaging content for social media and other owned channels.
- Keep a close eye on emerging trends, formats, and platform updates, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
- Build and maintain an annual content calendar to ensure consistent storytelling and coverage throughout the season.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to produce and deliver high-quality branded and partner content.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience in social media and community management, ideally within the sports industry.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills in both languages.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and tactics for engagement and growth.
- Experience with both organic and paid social media is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; video editing and/or graphic design.
