We’re working with a leading sporting organisation who are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to lead their commercial sales department.
This role will be crucial in driving the success of the team whilst also managing your own sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team and manage day to day operations for the outbound and inbound sales team.
- Building relationships with clients, garnering further business through consultative selling
- Drive new business sales through outbound telephone sales, client meetings, trade shows, networking events
- Map out local business in the North West Region, looking at new ways to grow corporate client base
- Implement a sales strategy and work closely with senior members of the business to drive success of the sales team
- Developing and maintaining sales processes and procedures, including lead management, forecasting, and sales tracking
- Lead on 1 to 1 sales development of junior sales people, be at the forefront of driving a strong team work ethic
Qualifications
- 5 years sales experience
- Background working in the commercial sport world or a B2B sales environment such as technology, finance, recruitment
- Huge passion for live sport & entertainment
- Excellent telephone and face to face sales negotiation skills
- Management of a small team
- Excellent communicator and ability to grow relations
