We’re working with a global sporting organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Operations for the business.

This is a senior role managing a team of 5 heads of departments. Leading the overall venue operations strategy and leading the planning, organisation, and delivery of all events and racing.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the venue operations strategy for the business
  • lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of all events and racing
  • Oversee all events, and the maintenance of permanent and temporary facilities, including health & safety compliance
  • Lead on the facilities management function, working across all areas of the business such as Capex projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and emergency services to ensure seamless race day operations.
  • Lead a team of 5 in the operations department.

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous experience working for a global sport or venue
  • NEBOSH and IOSH qualified
  • Proven experience planning, organising, and delivering large-scale events.
  • Experience working across Capex projects
  • Strong SAG experience
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
