A well-established and forward-thinking sport and leisure organisation is looking to hire a Data & Insights Analyst to support marketing and commercial decision-making. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to shape how data is used across campaigns, audiences and revenue streams.
Working closely with marketing, commercial and technology teams, you’ll turn data into clear insights that help improve performance across ticketing, hospitality, memberships and partnerships.
The Role
This role sits within the marketing function and supports wider commercial teams. You’ll take ownership of reporting and insights, helping the business better understand its audiences, campaigns and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable insights to support marketing and commercial performance.
- Analyse customer, sales and campaign data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
- Support audience segmentation and targeted marketing activity via CRM/CDP tools.
- Present findings in a clear, practical way to non-technical teams.
- Champion data accuracy, governance and best practice across teams.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing analytics, commercial insights or data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with Excel and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Some familiarity with SQL, CRM systems or data modelling.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of revenue drivers.
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
Nice to Have
- Background in sport, leisure, hospitality or live events.
- Interest in data-led marketing and digital transformation.
